Sarracenia rubra subsp. wherryi - Mowed Lawn Clone was obtained with permission off private property that was being continuously mowed. New owners changed the management regime on the landscape which ultimately will likely reduce this population. This clone displays nice coloration with vigorous growth!
Native trumpet pitcher plant - Random rooted division. These plants capture and consume ants, flying insects, and more!
Plants prefer a mix of organic peat, sphagnum, sand, and perlite. Do not fertilize this plant!
Cultivation Guidelines:
Light: Bright direct or indirect light.
Restricted Range: Prefers bog conditions, seeps, ect. Ideally the plant crown rests above where constant soil flooding occurs.
Growing Medium: Draining bog mix, peat, sphagnum.
