Liatris spicata - Dense Blazing Star - 50+ Seeds

Liatris spicata produces tall floral spike showing bright purple flowers! The thin foliage is different from many other native garden plants.

Produces corms which may be moved in late autumn and winter. Protection from moles and voles may be necessary.

Prefers hillsides with average soils. Is drought tolerant but may need supplemental watering in times of drought.

Cultivation Guidelines:
Light: Bright direct or indirect light.
Restricted Range: Will not survive soils that frequently flood. 
Growing Medium: Native soil, loam soils, clay soils.
