Eriophorum virginicum - Tawny Cottonsedge - Rooted Division

Eriophorum virginicum is a native sedge that produces interesting fluffy cotton seed heads. This plant is native to bogs and swamps and can grow from seed or rhizomes. This species produces nice texture in the bog garden! Plants begin to produce seeds in the second year of growth.

Cultivation Guidelines:
Light: Bright direct or indirect light.
Restricted Range: Prefers bog conditions, seeps, ect. Ideally the plant crown rests above where constant soil flooding occurs. 
Growing Medium: Draining bog mix, peat, sphagnum.
